Dr. Amir Sadeghi is a Senior Lecturer at La Trobe University and an internationally recognised educational psychologist and researcher specialising in language, literacy, and dyslexia across multilingual contexts. With a PhD in Education (Language and Literacy) and extensive academic and clinical experience across New Zealand, Australia, China, and Iran, Dr. Sadeghi brings a unique global perspective to the science of reading and learning difficulties.
His work focuses on the cognitive–linguistic foundations of literacy, the development of psychometric assessment tools, and evidence-based interventions for learners with reading difficulties. Dr. Sadeghi has contributed to major international publications and research in dyslexia and multilingual literacy and has played a key role in training educators and supporting inclusive, culturally responsive educational practices.
