About Me
Dr. Emad Mahgoub is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University. He is a clinical psychologist and researcher specializing in psychological disorders, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and behavioural interventions for children and adolescents.
Dr. Mahgoub has extensive academic and professional experience across Egypt and the Gulf region, having previously worked and taught in Kuwait and collaborated with several international institutions. His work focuses on psychological assessment, behavioural therapy, communication development, and rehabilitation for individuals with neurodevelopmental and learning difficulties.
He currently serves as Deputy Chairman of the Egyptian Association of Psychotherapists and Director of the Unit for Developing Skills of Persons with Disabilities at Cairo University. Dr. Mahgoub is also an editor and trainer in the fields of clinical psychology and special education and has published numerous research papers and books on psychological assessment, autism, and behavioural intervention.
