About Me
Dr. Tareq Hamad Alshatti is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Disorders Sciences, College of Life Sciences, Kuwait University, where he currently serves as Acting Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Research and Graduate Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Reading, UK. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has held senior leadership roles including General Director of the Public Authority for Disabled Affairs (with the rank of Undersecretary) and Assistant Undersecretary for Special and Qualitative Education at Kuwait's Ministry of Education. He has authored numerous publications on speech, language, and hearing disorders and has served as a national expert for the UNDP on disability and special education strategy. Dr. Alshatti brings this depth of academic, clinical, and public-policy expertise to Nawat Training's Advisory Board.
